In June, it was <strong>Marc Jacobs\u2019 turn<\/strong>. Schmid produced for the American designer <strong>a polyurethane incorporated with glitter<\/strong>, displayed on the New York catwalk during the presentation of the <strong>Resort 2016 collection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe tried to satisfy their request,\u201d explains <strong>Melissa D&#8217;Innella<\/strong>, head of Schmid\u2019s US desk. \u201cThey asked us for some advice and we proposed this type of solution. Compared to a common PVC, our product is softer and more suited to women\u2019s clothes,\u00a0especially for making details, cuffs and collars\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a great satisfaction for our company,\u201d said <strong>Paolo Ciccarelli<\/strong>, Schmid\u2019s CEO. \u201cWe have been working with Marc Jacobs for a while in footwear and now in apparel. It\u2019s the result of the good work we are doing.
