In the past years, espadrilles<\/strong>, known in Spain by their traditional name, alpargatas, have gone from being a traditional slipper to a trendy footwear. The shoes have been reinterpretated many times by the fashion world and luxury brands have made the product evermore detailed and unique.<\/p>\n

It is also the case of the famous Spanish brand Vidorreta<\/strong>, that has decided to use for the next season a tailor-made fabric created by Schmid<\/strong>. \u00abIt is a special fabric –\u00a0explains Vittorio Onetti, the company\u2019s general manager -. We combined a lurex mesh with a glitter fabric, creating a unique product in terms of sheen and touch. After which we printed a customised floral design, giving the name to the product: Ramage<\/strong>\u00bb.<\/p>\n

A recent but solid collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once again Spain confirms to be an interesting market for Schmid, as Onetti tells us. \u00abThe collaboration between Schmid and Vidorreta is recent but rests on a solid base<\/strong>. There is great trust and we are ready to work on other special items for future collections. This project validates our work philosophy.
