Arsutoria<\/strong>, thanks to a privileged view point of the market, accomplishes a crucial task in identifying future trends<\/strong>, in terms of concepts and colours, but also materials and finishings. Over the past few days, the school has unveiled initial previews of the trends characterising the fall\/winter 2017-2018 season<\/strong> during its traditional roadshow presentations.<\/p>\n As we wait for the official presentation of the Trend Book F\/W17-18, scheduled for the end of June, Schmid has made its own contribution to Arsutoria by providing some fabrics epitomising the trends revealed to industry experts during meetings in Milan, Florence, Venice and Macerata.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cWhat we have with Arsutoria is a very stimulating collaboration,\u201d said Paolo Ciccarelli<\/strong>, CEO of Schmid<\/strong>. \u201cWhat we wish to highlight is that the trends pinpointed by Arsutoria are extremely similar to the ones that we also identified.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n This point is paramount. The affinity confirms Schmid\u2019s ability to \u201cread\u201d the market beforehand. And it reinforces its strategic importance for fashion houses, because of its capacity to present its own ideas (that are collected twice a year in a comprehensive Trend Book) largely ahead of other market players and in sync with the increasingly shorter lead times available for the main style departments.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Arsutoria\u2019s style department identified four main trends during its meetings with Schmid, for which the company provided some of its material.<\/p>\n Savoir faire, class and elegance. As soon as one evokes the idea of \u201cgrandeur\u201d, haute couture comes to mind. Schmid\u2019s fabrics that Ars Sutoria chose to represent this trend are:<\/p>\n Spark Damask: a jacquard woven damask with a metallic thread.<\/p>\n Colour and animal pattern. Africa, with its warps and woofs, will dress women wishing to make a statement. Arsutoria chose two Schmid fabrics to represent them:<\/p>\n Contemporary and modern but also versatile and functional. Arsutoria\u2019s \u201cRobocop Pop\u201d trend includes three of Schmid\u2019s creations:<\/p>\n Rough, undefined and apparently unfinished. Raw, is a blend of quality and trendiness.
