Established over a decade ago within the Milanese prison <strong>Casa Circondariale San Vittore<\/strong> with the aim of offering professional opportunities to inmates, <strong>the cooperative Alice<\/strong> counts on the contribution of two extraordinary designers: <strong>Ilaria Venturini Fendi <\/strong>and <strong>Rosita Onofri. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>cooperative\u2019s collections are produced with<\/strong> tailoring techniques in <strong>workshops <\/strong>located in the <strong>prisons of Opera and Bollate<\/strong>, as well as in <strong>San Vittore, <\/strong>and <strong>garments <\/strong>and <strong>accessories<\/strong> stand out for their <strong>style<\/strong>, the <strong>quality <\/strong>of materials and the <strong>care taken <\/strong>in their preparation.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_BA8iSFA7nU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A bag for the CISL union\u2019s National Congress <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Inmates are now working on the creation of <strong>bags specially designed by Ilaria Venturini Fendi <\/strong>for the next National Congress of the CISL union, which will take place in May. About eight hundred of these bags will be produced.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials <\/strong>were supplied to the cooperative by Schmid<strong>, in line with <\/strong>the spirit of <strong>collaboration <\/strong>that has always seen the company committed to <strong>social projects <\/strong>involving <strong>professional training <\/strong>and the <strong>rehabilitation <\/strong>and <strong>reintegration <\/strong>of less fortunate people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rehabilitation<\/strong>, in this case, doesn\u2019t only involve people, but also <strong>fabrics and other materials<\/strong>. Indeed, <strong>Ilaria Venturini Fendi,<\/strong> has for years created <strong>responsible fashion <\/strong>characterised by an <strong>ethical approach.<\/strong> The slogan of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carminacampus.com\/\"><strong>Carmina Campus<\/strong><\/a>, the brand created by the designer for her own line of products, is in fact \u201csave waste from waste\u201d, with the use of industrial materials, commonly considered disposable, as sources of inspiration and raw material for her collections.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6766\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schmid.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Alice13.jpg\" alt=\"Coop Alice e Schmid per CISL\" width=\"665\" height=\"256\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schmid.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Alice13.jpg 665w, https:\/\/www.schmid.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Alice13-250x96.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.schmid.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Alice13-350x135.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 665px) 100vw, 665px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Recovery of materials <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Schmid <\/strong>shares this approach and is happy to contribute to this initiative, supplying <strong>the cooperative Alice<\/strong> <em>vintage<\/em> materials, samples and fabrics that for the fashion industry have concluded their life cycle.<\/p>\n<p>The importance of social responsibility and professional training for <strong>Schmid<\/strong> is also highlighted by the fruitful and now well-established collaborations with groups like the <strong>London College of Fashion and<\/strong> <strong>Arsutoria<\/strong> and more recently, by the equally promising partnership with Milan&#8217;s <strong>Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>clothing <\/strong>and <strong>accessories of the cooperative Alice<\/strong> can be purchased in its Milan <strong>boutique<\/strong> in <strong>Via Gaudenzio Ferrari 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6767\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schmid.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Alice12.jpg\" alt=\"Ragazze di Coop Alice\" width=\"665\" height=\"256\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schmid.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Alice12.jpg 665w, https:\/\/www.schmid.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Alice12-250x96.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.schmid.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Alice12-350x135.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 665px) 100vw, 665px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Schmid continues to support the social commitment of the Milan cooperative Alice.
