At Lineapelle New York, the Made in Italy is signed by Schmid

With Lineapelle New York the new FW2019-20 season’s trends are shown to the american designers: This year, during the exhibition, you may attend demonstrative seminars dedicated to materials that drive innovation and creativity, while fulfilling structural and aesthetic objectives, and Schmid will be one of the main partners of the event.

The 17th and 18th July, Schmid will be amongst the partners who will be showing thru its textiles and expertise the Italian excellence during the workshop Crafting Innovation. Orietta Pelizzari, international “trend setter”, speaker of the workshop, will focus on elements of bags made with innovative materials and special processing and application techniques.

“Aim of the Crafting Innovation workshop – stated Paolo Ciccarelli, Schmid’s CEO – was to bring beyond national borders the excellence of artisanal materials and techniques. The same excellence that has made the “Made in Italy” renowned all over the world; as Schmid we are proud to have taken part to this project with our finest materials and our know-how built up over years on international markets“.

Reflective nylon worked with bi-face thermoforming techniques; carbon fiber compound (patented by Schmid); 100% rubber-based materials with high elasticity; 3D and digital printed cellulose; 3D and thermoformed stretch satin and high resistance polyester organza: these the materials chosen by Orietta Pelizzari for the workshops.
