Presenting new finishings

After having expanded the velvets’ colour range with bright and vivid tones, Schmid is working on new finishings. Especially appreciated by our clients are digital prints with animal-inspired designs, geometrical patterns and hot embossing with varying graphics, from the traditional moire’ to modern braids and waves. Even the traditional brocade is reinterpreted by Schmid with innovative embossings that enhance the surface and its appearance without betraying its essence.

Even with the evergreen velvet Grazia, one of the most used and known fabrics, Schmid has successfully experienced digital printing, hot embossing and quilting.

The other finishings that are particularly satisfactory are quilting, embroidery, and caviar-type effects that Schmid does exclusively for its top clients.
