Geometrics: experiments and optical illusions for a 2021 Spring/Summer in the name of innovation

The fabrics from the Geometrics line, showcased at the Lineapelle Milan trade show until 21 February, are a combination of experimentation and innovation.

Contemporaneity as the inspiration for 2021 Spring-Summer fabrics: drawings and micro-geometrical compositions will give life next season to a new alphabet of surfaces, for accessories in line with the cosmopolitan spirit of our times.

For this reason, the fabrics from the Geometrics line by Schmid, showcased at the Lineapelle Milan trade show until 21 February, are a combination of experimentation and innovation.

Inspiration is drawn from the ultra-modern design of the vertical gardens of metropolitan cities, for a wardrobe that is full of versatile accessories featuring multi-faceted patterns and textures.

Materiality combined with sophisticated and minimalist design convey a versatile, determined and globe-trotting femininity. Geometric designs contaminated with traces of lurex or glitter, for a three-dimensional, shiny and degradé effect.

Super-technical satin (Rio) is given a bright and shiny feel. Nylon mesh (Tulle Sound) is thermo-printed with square patterns for 3D geometries, or is embellished with glitter (Brooklyn) or flock (Indiana) for geometric patterns that generate movement and customization.

Also jersey is illuminated by lurex, either gold or silver, and can be matched with MTP (Lizzy), for excellent strength and elasticity, or be thermoformed into scale (Shard) or striped (Domino) geometric patterns.

Colours are graphical: black and white prevail, with strong, metallic and sporty contrasts created by combinations with blue, yellow, red or green. Come and discover our latest creations!
